Ultimate Products is a leading consumer goods business supplying over 300 major retailers across the UK and Europe. With a portfolio of well-known homeware brands and ambitious growth plans, our Supply Chain team plays a crucial part in delivering high-quality products safely, on time and at scale.

We’re looking for individuals who have graduated within the last couple of years and gained some workplace experience — or those looking to transition into Supply Chain from another field. Your key responsibilities could include:

As a Merchandiser, you will step into a central role, leading and managing your division while actively guiding and supporting your team through various challenges. Your responsibility extends beyond just ensuring smooth operations; you'll be instrumental in fostering a collaborative environment where everyone can thrive. Your knack for building and nurturing strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and freight forwarders will be pivotal in our success.

You'll find yourself at the heart of cross-functional collaboration, working closely with departments such as Buying QA, Sales, and Brand. Moreover, you'll have the opportunity to interact with directors and colleagues from our office in China, broadening your perspective and furthering your professional development.

• Project managing key order projects for major international retailers.
• Working with Factories across the Far East on product manufacturing and production.
• Leading Internal departments to work together to meet key customer requirements.
• Attending and leading key meetings within our supply chain including our China team, factories, customers, and internal departments to ensure on time delivery and successful completion of each project.
• Ensuring all necessary documentation has been received in-line with our customer requirements.
• You will liaise externally with the Supplier, agents and nominated freight Forwarders and liaise internally with to ensure orders are shipped on time and that documents are issued as per the customer requirements.

About You

• A degree (2:1 or above) in any discipline
• 6–24 months of previous work experience (any sector)
• Be assertive and confident to escalate
• Confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• A proactive, resilient approach
• Ability to commute to our Oldham office
